Our Team
Mike Burns
founder
Burns Business Development (BBD) was founded in 2008 by Mike & Melisssa Burns. Mike holds a degreee in business managment and marketing and truely enjoys marketing and helping clients achieve their business goals. Early on, BBD specialized in content creation and media buying for radio, TV and print campaigns. The marketing landscape has changed dramatically since 2008; today BBD works with a select number of clients, with the majority of projects focused around graphic design, web development, social media and consulting.
Mike is a strong advocate for involvement in the community and currently servers on the Board of Trustees for The Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County and Archbishop Murphy High School.
When not working, you will find Mike and Melissa at their beach cabin on Camano Island, attending their kids sporting events, playing with their 3 dogs (Bogart, Walter and Hank, fishing with Jack or traveling with Melissa and their four “kids” – Annie (22), Molly (20), Caroline (17) and Jack (14).
Molly Burns
Social Media Content Manager
I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with BBD clients for their social media needs. I am currently attending Boise State University and obtaining a degree in Communications with a Sports Information and Culture certificate. My coursework at Boise State provides me with ongoing projects for companies in the Boise Community. These projects range from re-branding, PR campaigns, and social content creation.
When not working on my courses, I can be found working for various companies and creating content that I am passionate about. These include HOTWORX Boise, The Boys and Girls Club of Snohomish County, AMHS Football and Three Rivers Marine.
